Open World - In the open where you talk about "Mass PvP" the Paladin doesn't have to join a group to be effective at killing other players. He will get punished if he decided to take those roles. Rift has a counter play to every class soo a "healer tank" can't just pounce on someone and downright dominate them. This game PvP conenten is limited almost only to arena/BG, while game at all hevy focusing on dungeons - PvE. WoW is not PvP game, mass PvP content doe snot exist from very long time. I did not play Rift so I will not tell about it, but the game does not going well. ![]() Not enought mobility, DPS, CC and even survitalability as for the class that same as tank need to fight in first line. Only problematic class is Berserker - they are indeed underpowered in all fields. Ofc the game have one flaw - the Berserker class. People with such experience may be confused when see propery made game where classes have roles and players are supposed to plan strategy and party/raid setup. As pointed it, alot of people here from game like BDO where in fact every class doing the same job. That si why I pointed every class have own role and people have to learn cooperate. It would be funny to see one class mass PvP. What it brings to the table? A massive spam of the same class. You clearly either too low level or just a Paladin who enjoy the very luxury of taking over resources in the world without any contention and claiming it is an "MASSIVELY ONLINE" they need x amount of players more just to kill me. They have Paladin variants in most MMO that is not as broken as this game and can still be counter with proper builds vice versa. Thay are supposed to take hits and survive. Paladin and Guardian are supposed to hold the line. But should be supposed to play them role in PvP. Classes are not balanced to play solo, and should not be. All what is metter here is strategy and cooperation. This is Massively multiplayer online role-playing game, the game focused on war between factions - mass PvP. This game is not even party vs party game in some BG.
